Meet 4th Source QA, Brenda Lopez

2.26.18 By Cindy Baum

Meet 4th Source's Talented Employees.

What is your role at 4th Source?

I am a QA working for one of our clients who is a multinational claims management company.

How does your role contribute to the company and our customers?

My role is to test projects and ensure the quality of client-specific processes and reports meet certain standards.

What do you love most about working with 4th Source?

What I love most about working with 4th Source is the people. I have had the fortune of working in both our Mexico City and Merida offices in Mexico. I really enjoy working with such nice people. I’ve made friends for life and have grown as a professional here.

What is your most memorable moment at 4th Source?

My most memorable moment at 4th Source was being recognized for my work. It means the world to me when people let me know that they’ve seen me grow and work hard. Also, my QA lead from Memphis sent me and my team some Christmas gifts. This meant a lot, especially because we haven’t met in person but she values us as teammates.

When you're not working at 4th Source, what can we find you doing?

I easily binge watch movie series or read an entire book in a week. Music, however, wins my heart. I go to a lot of concerts and festivals, and you can always see me dancing and jumping at a concert.

I am also a volunteer for both Voluntarios Mexico and Risaterapia. I am also a red nose. Being a volunteer is one of the most satisfying things I can do with my spare time.

What were you doing before you joined 4th Source?

Before I joined 4th Source, I was studying for my degree. I was a small-town girl until I got this job, then I came to the city. I worked at our office in Merida for a couple of months, and I hope to visit our office in Colima sometime.

Where do you see your future?

My goals and aspirations for the future are to stay at 4th Source for as long as possible. I believe I have a lot to offer to 4th Source, but I also have a lot to learn. I envision creating a long and happy career here. For my personal life - well I’m pretty young - I want to conquer the world. So far, I am my favorite version of myself, with plans to see lots of places, and things to learn.
