What is your role at 4th Source?

I am the Staffing and Recruiting Manager here at 4th Source.

I am responsible for sourcing external open positions we have in our company. When a client asks for a new position, and we don’t already have someone available to fill it, Service Delivery contacts me to fill the request. I work alongside a team of eight recruiters to attract the best talent possible.

What do you love most about working with 4th Source?

I love that I’ve been able to see the company grow since I started in 2010, especially the staffing team. When I started there were only two people working in Merida. Now, we’re a team of nine recruiters and a technical writer across three offices.

We’ve become a strong team over the past past six years.

What is your most memorable moment at 4th Source?

I have to say the most memorable moment was the first job fair I attended as a 4th Source recruiter. It was at a conference center near our office in Merida, and was actually the first big event I had ever worked at. I was nervous and excited at the same time. The experience was a roller coaster ride; hectic and stressful, but amazing! The job fair was full of IT people, and we were extremely busy, but we had a blast.

When you're not working at 4th Source, what can we find you doing?

I love reading about every single topic I can find from drama to high fantasy. I have to confess my favorite genre is young adult. I also enjoy photography and traveling.

What were you doing before you joined 4th Source?

Before 4th Source, I worked for a small psychology firm. They taught me a lot about the interview process, and what types of questions to ask depending where candidates are in their career.

Where do you see yourself in the near future?

I actually see myself getting involved in HR, and will likely pursue a master’s degree in staffing.
